Kathmandu Valley Cycle Tour is a spectacular cycle tour in Nepal exploring Kathmandu Valley and enjoying a magnificent mountain panorama. This tour is a rewarding way to experience an adventure activity and country life at the same time. Similarly, it is also active involvement in having tremendous insights into flora and fauna.

And most significantly, riding cycles and witnessing mountain views from different vantage points like Nagarkot, Chisapani, Kakani, DhulikhelChangunarayan, and Bhaktapur.  We also visit picturesque traditional villages during our ride including Dandagaun, Mulkharka, Banepa, Dhulikhel, and Budhanilkantha. These all villages are inhabited by ethnic people rich in tradition and culture.

Around Kathmandu Valley, Cycle Tour is all about being a part of adventurous cycling around the valley connecting to various viewpoints, and also collecting amazing experiences along with mesmerizing mountain views.  At the same time, this cycle tour offers us an opportunity of visiting some historical and cultural sites within the premises of  Kathmandu Valley like Bhaktapur and Changunarayan. We cycle on the off-the-beaten tracks which are entirely traffic-free through lush green forest and vegetation.

We begin our  Kathmandu Valley Cycle Tour or 7 night-8day cycle tour from Thamel, Kathmandu. Each of the individual cyclists will get one equipped cycle and head to Kakani. Kakani is a hill station nearby Kathmandu and is also popular as the viewpoint to capture magnificent mountain views to the north. Kakani is very popular for fish (trout). We have our lunch at Kakani and we further cycle to Dandagaun. Dandagaun also is a beautiful hill station with traditional settlements. We spend the night here. The next day we head for Chisapani via Mulkharka. The trail is through a dense forest in Shivapuri National Park.

Shivapuri National Park is the closest national park to Kathmandu Valley. It is also a  watershed area. Further, the next day, we head to Nagarkot via Chaukibhanjyang. Again, Today’s cycling is largely in Shivapuri National Park. We, finally, get to Nagarkot and spend the night there. At Nagarkot, we view sunset and sunrise with splendid mountain peaks.

We, further, continue our cycle tour in order to collect more memorable memories of cultural and natural highlights. In this course, we cycle from Nagarkot to Banepa and Dhulikhel. Banepa and Dhulikhel are also popular viewpoints. We spend the night at Dhulikhel. Then, we embark on a ride to Banepa Via Namobuddha.

Namobuddha has located 40km from Kathmandu. Namobuddha is the most popular Buddhist pilgrimage site in Nepal called the old Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery. It is believed that Lord Buddha was reborn as a prize and give his body to the starving tigress and her cubs. Banepa is a historical town located in central Nepal at about 1500m above sea level. It is just 15 km far from Kathmandu. The main attraction of the Banepa is the Temple of Chandeswori which is believed to have been built in the 17th century.

So, the Around Kathmandu Valley Cycle Tour is to connect the valley with beautiful tourist destinations closer to it and is to offer a blended flavor of adventure and cultural insights. For the customization of this tour, please contact us.
