Bad Weather and Cancellation of Trip

The weather in the Jomsom and Muktinath area is instantly changing. Actually, the weather condition is unpredictable and it keeps changing even every 15 or 20 minutes. However, this is not the case all the time in year. We still have very good weather which favors us for our Muktinath Helicopter Tour. If the weather continues to be unfavorable and worse, then, either the Muktinath Helicopter Trip will either be postponed or canceled. If you have enough time to wait for the next flight, you can still do it. Otherwise, you can cancel it and get a full refund. So, the visitors are suggested to see the weather forecast of Muktinath or Jomsom for the next 2 or 3 days and then only go for booking.

No special permit is required for the Muktinath Temple. The people who are going to fly to Muktinath by helicopter also require obtaining two types of permits as the trekkers who are trekking to Jomsom-Muktinath or Annapurna region. The required permits are: Annapurna Conservation Area Entry Permit (ACAP) and TIMS Card. Both permits are arranged by the local tour/travel company.
