The serene lakes, natural waterfalls, holy and historical caves, luxury hotels and restaurants and most significantly, incredible Annapurna panoramas please every kind of tourist. Phewa Lake, Davis Fall, World Peace Pagoda, Sarangkot and Paragliding and Gupteswor Mahadev Cave are the considerable highlights of Pokhara city.

From Pokhara, we head to Tatopani. Tatopani means ‘hot water’ in English. We dip our body in lukewarm water which is natural. It relaxes our whole today. From Tatopani, we drive to Kagbeni which is a mesmerizing town in the Mustang region. Kagbeni is located in Kali Gandaki valley. Next, we drive to Muktinath, a holy Hindu pilgrimage site in the Mustang region. Muktinath is famous for a natural flame that never goes out and 108 water spouts which are supposed to wash out all sins. Hindu devotees offer the prayer to Lord Vishnu at Muktinath temple. We also visit Jomsom, a windy city in the lower Mustang region. We experience a strong wind in the afternoon and in the evening in Jomsom. We also can observe wind energy at Jomsom. Marpha is another attraction of this tour. Marpha is particularly famous for apples. Different products of apples like liquor and pickles are very popular in Marpha.

We finally drive to Pokhara from Marpha and further drive to Kathmandu to end our Four Wheels Off-road tour to Mustang. If you are already in Pokhara, you can directly begin this tour from Pokhara and end at the same place.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel

You will be received by our representative at the airport. Our representative will be at the arrival holding placard with your and our company name (Magic Expedition). And then, you will be transferred to the hotel. It is around 30 mins drive from the airport to the hotel. There may some hassles like offering a taxi or hotel or something like that. Do go with them. And sometimes, in international flight, your luggage may be missing. Be very careful. We hope it will not disturb your trip.

After your arrival at the hotel, you will get refreshed and we will have a short orientation meeting regarding the trip. We will introduce a guide or trip leader. For this, be with 4 pieces of recent pp sized photographs, a copy of passport and a copy of travel insurance. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

We begin our Kathmandu sightseeing tour after breakfast with private vehicles and experienced tour guides.

First, we go to visit Patan. Patan Durbar, Patan Museum, and Krisna temple are the major highlights of Patan. We also acknowledge ancient art and architecture at Patan. After Patan, we visit Pashupatinath Temple, a popular Hindu pilgrimage site in Nepal. Pashupatinath Temple is located at the bank of the holy Bagmati river. One also can observe holy cremation in this visit.

Boudhnath is an invaluable attraction of the valley. It is the biggest stupa in the world located at Bouddha in Nepal and it attracts thousands of visitors around the world. Especially, Bouddhanath Stupa is invaluably a sacred pilgrimage for Buddhist followers. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Today, we go to explore Swyombhunath stupa first. This massive and impressive stupa is located at the hillock which offers us the magnificent view of Kathmandu valley and mountain peaks in fair weather. This cultural and spiritual visit to Swyambhunath stupa also famous for Monkey Temple, the oldest temple or stupa in the cultural history of Nepal provides an insight of years-long civilization. You will certainly find yourself fortunate to observe 200 years old art and architecture and the Swyambhunath Stupa is the very point within the valley to seize the entire view of Kathmandu valley. The monkeys, holy prayer flags, centuries-old art and architecture, the serenity of the forest in the premises make this visit to Swyombhunath Stupa more fascinating.

After spending plenty of time exploring Swyombhunath stupa, we head to Pokhara. Pokhara is 7-8 hours drive from Kathmandu. We follow Prithvi Highway all the way till we get Pokhara. On the way, we get the Trishuli river which is popular for white water river rafting. We also enjoy seeing country settlements and people. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Today, we drive to Tatopani from Pokhara via Beni. The distance from Pokhara to Tatopani is 100km. It takes around 5-6 hours to get Tatopani from Pokhara. The road up to Beni is concrete and smooth. From Beni, the road turns to be rough mountain road till we get Tatopani. However, driving a jeep on the off-road celebrating arid landscapes will be magnificent. Overnight at a lodge at Tatopani.

 First, we enjoy natural lukewarm water from the pond and taps at Tatopani. The Nepali term ‘Tatopani’ denotes ‘hot water’ in English. The water is warm enough which relaxes your body. Next, we continue driving to Kagbeni from Tatopani. We again will drive along the off-road into the core wilderness experiencing mountain peaks, wide and deep gorges and valleys which are mostly dry. This region seldom receives rainfall. Finally, we arrive at Kagbeni, a beautiful city in the Mustang region and stay overnight. Overnight at a lodge at Kagbeni.

Today we are driving to a popular Hindu pilgrimage site, Muktinath. On the way, we celebrate magnificent drive along the rough mountain road. We drive via Khingar & Jharkot.

Your journey, today, is going to be spiritual because we are going to visit a popular Hindu pilgrimage site where god Vishnu is worshipped. The natural flame which never goes out and the 108 water spouts are incredible to experience in Muktinath. Having a bath from these water spouts suppose to wash out all sins. Overnight at a lodge at Muktinath.

We begin our drive after breakfast at lodge in Muktinath. Driving to Kalopani from Muktinath takes around 3 hours. We cross total distance of 50km in today’s drive. On the way, we pass popular cities in Mustang region like Jomsom and Marpha. Jomsom is known as windy city and gateway to Mustang region and Marpha is considerably popular for apples. Overnight at lodge at Kalopani.

Today, we drive 121.4 km to get Pokhara from Kalopani. We drive along the Bagling Highway passing the cities like Beni and Kusma. The road till we get Beni is rough mountain road. We begin driving on the smooth road from Beni. Finally, we arrive at Pokhara and stay overnight.
